Kathleen Durham serves as the Executive Director of the Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-Kill in Hyde Park, New York.
A graduate of Pepperdine Law School in Malibu, California, Kathleen practiced Business and Employment Law in California and New York. She has served as Director of Labor Relations for the U. S. Customs Service in Los Angeles, CA, Vice-President of Business & Economic Development for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, and Director of Public Engagement for Savannah Public Schools.
Kathleen uses her background in leadership, economic and small business development to help people and organizations achieve desired strategic and personal results through training, consulting services, workshops, and seminars. As Executive Director of the Eleanor Roosevelt Center, she has led the development of the Eleanor Roosevelt Leadership Legacy Programs which provide leadership training as practiced by Eleanor Roosevelt in the areas of social justice, human rights and socially conscious leadership.
She has served on a number of non-profit boards in New York and Georgia and believes service is the rent you pay for your space on earth. Kathleen has been recognized for her service by various organizations in New York and Georgia.
